  2. Managing Challenging Behaviour Course at Bournemouth Uni

    Our MD Ronnie Heath held a course on Managing Challenging Behaviour last Friday at Bournemouth University. Here’s some of the reponses from the students we’d like to share…

    The part I loved was the dancing
    The part I found the most interesting was how you talk to people and change the vocabulary so the kids take control and you find something nice to say before you give negative feedback and praising for improvement not for being good at something. Thank you!

    Today’s workshop was fantastic I thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt so much. Ronnie Heath was fascinating the way he delivered the workshop made the session so much fun. I learnt so many different ways to coach and how to manage groups in different ways depending on their abilities and personalities.

  3. Winchcombe School Young Ambassadors Training

    We recently held a session at Winchcombe School in Newbury for 12 Year 6 Young Ambassadors run by our Leadership Lead Tim Dancer. The aim of the session was to work with Young Leaders to help promote the London 2012 and be role models for the Olympic Values. The children were, as always, brilliant – full of energy and ability!

  4. Comfort – Stretch – Panic

    Our very own Ronnie Heath paid a visit to one of our beacon school partners, Culverhay School in Bath this week. Among the things discussed was the comfort – stretch – panic curve. The curve refers to the level of challenge that pupils are faced with, how well the pupil is equipped to deal with that challenge and how much learning occurs.
