Following the recent announcement regarding funding for PE and School Sport, we have been contacted by several partners to discuss potential collaboration as a way to maximise impact for teachers and children in primary schools across the country. With this in mind, the information below outlines some of our proposed ways of working in this exciting new landscape, all of which will involve working only with partners who share the same philosophies and values of simplicity, passion and excellence.
In response to new curriculum guidance, we have developed a new comprehensive scheme of work for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 (KS1). It includes a curriculum map, clear learning journeys, engaging activities and adaptable lessons plans with outcomes clearly mapped to a coherent assessment framework to evidence and celebrate sustained progress. The foundations of the scheme are based on Fundamental Movement Skills, inclusive competition and broader essential holistic skills.

Create would like to say a huge congratulations to two schools that we work in partnership with. The amazing teachers at both schools strive for excellence.
Marish Primary School in Slough was highly commended at the Youth Sport Trust’s (YST’s) prestigious Innovation Awards 2013 for “Excellence in harnessing PE and sport as a catalyst for learning – Primary”.
Marish work in partnership with Create Development to put skills needed for learning at the forefront of their teaching. After being put into special measures in 2009, Marish have successfully been graded as ‘Good with Outstanding features’ and are on the drive towards ‘Outstanding’. Their leadership empowering curriculum raises aspirations for all and they now support two other schools.

Create Development are very pleased to announce the successful launch of our services in the United Arab Emirates!
Create Development Directors Ronnie Heath and John Parsons were invited to deliver its trilogy of innovative courses to British curriculum teachers in Dubai at the end of January. The United Arab Emirates’ Professional Development Group asked us to fly over following a recommendation from the Dubai Affiliated Secondary Schools’ Association (DASSA).
“I have picked up teaching ideas and philosophies that I can take back to school and implement. A worthwhile course designed to challenge PE teachers, new and old, and their teaching methods to provide a child centred learning focus”
