Create Development are very pleased to announce the successful launch of our services in the United Arab Emirates!

Create Development Directors Ronnie Heath and John Parsons were invited to deliver its trilogy of innovative courses to British curriculum teachers in Dubai at the end of January. The United Arab Emirates’ Professional Development Group asked us to fly over following a recommendation from the Dubai Affiliated Secondary Schools’ Association (DASSA).

“I have picked up teaching ideas and philosophies that I can take back to school and implement. A worthwhile course designed to challenge PE teachers, new and old, and their teaching methods to provide a child centred learning focus”
Jill Oliver
PE Teacher
Al Yasmina School, Abu Dhabi

Over the course of three days, 50 British curriculum primary and secondary PE teachers undertook Create Development’s three-tiered professional development programme, supported by ground-breaking resources.  FUNS for everyone,, focusing on physical literacy for all, introduces and reinforces the fundamental movement skills that children need to maximise their physical potential and confidence. By concentrating on including, challenging and supporting the whole child, ‘Raising the Bar’ supports teachers in developing a more holistic approach to teaching PE and Sport. ‘ACCELERATING Abilities’, the final tier, centres around Assessment for Learning and looks at how to use it to drive curriculum mapping, schemes of work and teaching and learning practice to ensure the move from Good to Outstanding.

“I learnt how to deliver a realistic, progressive, multi-skill curriculum.  A thoroughly enjoyable, informative and inspirational way of looking at teaching and learning. I would certainly recommend it.”
Ben Parnell
PE teacher
Jumeirah English Speaking School (JESS)
