Day 1 (Evening) 6.00pm – 10.00pm

• Keynote 1 – Is teaching PE an Art or a Science? – The root of the problem.
• Keynote 2 – Aligning what you believe in with what you say and what you do.Challenging the ‘either/or’ Myth
• Review and Response Tables. Evening meal and Networking tables. After-dinner address. Guest speaker.

Day 2 8.45am – 3.30pm

Keynote 3 – Learning Nutrition. Can PE become the most important subject in the Curriculum?

Workshop 1 - Learners Leading Learning. Accelerating learning by shifting responsibility. Explore practical solutions to providing an AFL framework and environment for successful independent learning and peer coaching.  Creating clear shared learning journeys. (Practical)

Workshop 2 – Including, Challenging and Supporting all pupils through an holistic approach to PE.

Networking discussions and lunch. Sharing Outstanding Practice.

Workshop 3 – Translating the Message. How to best tell and sell what our subject can and does achieve to Senior Management, Governors, Parents and the Wider Community?

Conferences postponed to Summer term

After overwhelming feedback from Local Partners and schools we have decided to postpone the regional conferences.

The content and format were well received but the vast majority felt the timing was too soon and that a local County or City conference would be more successful.

We therefore invite partners to host a subject leaders conference. We can pay partners a management fee on similar basis as other events and have the capacity to tailor the course as well as involve their staff.

We will of course be driving on with Inclusion conferences already planned.

Price includes banquet dinner, all meals/refreshments, keynotes, workshops and conference materials.
