Unlocking their Potential – A National PE Conference to make a real difference for children and young adults with ASD
Create Development are very excited to announce our first National Autism Conference held in conjunction with Oakfield School and Sports College and supported by The National Autistic Society
It is essential that young people with ASD are equipped with the physical skills required to support their levels of independence, self-esteem and self- confidence which enables them to broaden their experiences and provides them with more choices and opportunities to become active in the community. This Conference will provide a blend of inspirational keynote and practical workshops with real solutions. In addition, the network tables there will provide opportunities to share experiences, ideas and best practice with other like-minded professionals.
There will be opportunities for delegates to focus on mainstream or specialist settings and there will be a choice of Early Years/Key Stage 1 or Key Stages 2/3/4 or Young Adults. The Conference will be held across the 10th and 11th May 2012 at the Birmingham NEC. Reservations for the conference can be made either for the full 2 days or for Day 2 of the course only. In either case we are offering discounted rates for those who book before the 10th March, so get booking and we hope to see you there!
20% of profits will be donated to the National Autistic Society

Our work with Create Development has not only increased our students’ physical literacy but also their emotional and thinking skills!

An inspirational conference where the content has impacted on primary, secondary and special school teaching and support staff. There was not one delegate who didn’t go away enthused.
