Mark Templeton, PE Leader at North Town Primary School in Taunton, is joining the Create Development team as lead for school based support in Somerset. Mark, responsible for the extraordinarily successful PE programme at North Town, will soon be sharing his sector leading experience and skills to provide school based support for other primary schools in their PE ambition to create a real legacy for every child.
Mark will work closely with Gill Cameron, Regional Manager for Somerset, Devon, Dorset and Cornwall, and Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership (SASP) to provide joined up development and support for schools across Somerset.
Ronnie Heath, Managing Director is delighted with the news:
“Mark is a fantastic addition to the team. He has already delivered some initial training alongside Toni Smyth for Subject Leaders and now the opportunity for him to work full time will transform the support we offer to schools. At a time when we are launching real legacy and the exciting online learning platform, Jasmine for primary schools, Mark will provide essential on the ground support for schools to truly embed the Create approach. Teachers love to work with other quality teachers that have true empathy and Mark has that special skill to align with the schools’ own values and vision.”
Miss Lang, Year 3 Class Teacher at North Town said: “Everything that Mark does just completely supports everything we do in the classroom.”
We’re really looking forward to Mark joining the team and supporting schools in Somerset.
