The conference supports anyone whose role is an “agent of change”, with a challenge to promote, advocate and develop new, creative and innovative ideas on a daily basis, for example:

  • Senior Management Staff/Teams
  • Department Heads/Aspiring Department Heads
  • Regional/Local managers
  • School Sport Coordinators

Whether in meetings, giving formal presentations, on the phone or face to face, many roles now involve coping with a wide range of partners and a constantly changing audience in many different environments. All of these situations require the skills of Persuasive Presentations.

This Programme incorporates and develops the key skills required for success and therefore maximise post-Programme impact in the workplace.
 

Aims

The Programme will give delegates the opportunity to:

  • Establish the value of building strong professional relationships
  • Investigate and understand differing and relevant audiences, including  different cultures and contexts
  • Explore personal and partners’ motivations, incentives and prejudices
  • Develop more effective communication through the “seeing eye to eye” model
  • Improve  planning, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills through experiential learning and review opportunities
