Helping families play and learn together whilst supporting children to develop the physical literacy, emotional and thinking skills to achieve in PE and life.

exceed for schools is a flexible solution to transform the learning behaviours of your disadvantaged pupils with market leading tools to evidence progress.

Summer Schools

Aimed at: Key Stage 2 (KS2) Key Stage 3 (KS3) Transition

The Summer Schools programme is funded by the Department for Education to support disadvantaged pupils in making a successful transition to secondary school.

Funding is used to deliver a one or two-week school based programme to develop the key Personal, Social, Cognitive and Creative skills of pupils to ensure they begin secondary school as happy, confident learners who believe they can achieve. This has a significant impact on attendance, behaviour and achievement.

How we can support your school

Create offers two Summer Schools solutions:

A. Working in partnership
We work in partnership to deliver Summer Schools on school sites to develop the essential Learning Skills pupils require to begin secondary school as happy, confident learners who believe they can achieve. Summer Schools have had a significant impact on attendance, behaviour and achievement.

B. Summer Schools Training
Due to high demand we are now providing comprehensive training throughout the country to support schools and teachers to deliver their own Summer Schools. This includes: 2-days training, support, resources, impact reports and online development tools to track and monitor pupils’ progress.
